Have you ever made bad choices? The obvious answer is, “Of course.” In truth, we have all made poor choices when it comes to just about every aspect of our lives including relationships, money, career, etc. That is the fuel that flames the fires of this presentation. I have spoken to many teenagers, from 7th-12th grade, over my career. I truly have a heart for these youngsters and wants to help them. Like all of you, I have seen young people make good decisions and of course, I have sadly seen some make very poor ones. I want to see them succeed in life and that begins with good choices.

But many times our “old people” advice falls on deaf ears. After all, what do older folks know? Right? Well, if we take just a little time to reflect on our own teen years, we might also recall our own disdain for the “wisdom” of our elders.

That’s where I come in. I have proven time and time again that winning the right to speak to these young people is necessary for effective teaching. I have also shown that comedy and magic does just that. I will provide these young people with some incredible mind-boggling magic and at the same time, share critical lessons that will challenge them to THINK about their personal choices.

That’s why I created the presentation…”CHOICES.”

Choices is not as much of a show as it is an experience.  Even though this is a cerebral presentation, but fully graspable by teens, rest assured there are still laughs and amazement to be had.   If it wasn’t fun and interesting, I wouldn’t do it. In this extremely interactive program, I ask my guests to make choices all along the way.  Will those choices impact the endings?   Were they really free choices?  Just a couple of questions (among many) that will be posed and illustrated in this mind-boggling time together.

The most popular word heard after this program is: “How?”

Using amazing and interactive illustrations, I will cover areas such as:

  • Peer pressure on choices
  • Emotional choosing
  • Goal focused choices
  • Manipulated choices
  • Instinct choosing
  • …and even more.

Choices is perfect for more intimate group settings such as classrooms, youth groups, or even staff meetings in business. The pace is slower and relaxed so a minimum of 60 minutes is suggested.

Although I created this primarily for teenagers; truthfully, it can be inspirational and helpful for adults as well.

Is fate calling?  Don’t miss it!

Do you worry about your children, grandchildren, or even your students developing Type II Diabetes? The truth is, our culture is setting them up for the very real possibility of developing this life-long disease and what’s more, most young ones never really hear about it or if they do, it is usually presented in some boring classroom lecture while they talk, daydream, or play games on their phones.

That’s why I developed this Magical Presentation called: VANISH TYPE 2.

Avoiding the Stick

I was diagnosed with Type Two Diabetes over a decade ago and have lived with this chronic disease since. During this permanent battle I have done things right and I have done things wrong. Through it all, I have learned; and it’s that knowledge and experience that I want to share with those who are vulnerable to this ugly disease. I strongly believe that knowledge is the key to preventing or at least delaying the life-changing diagnosis. This program, although suitable and informative to adults, is most focused on reaching our teens and youngest adults.

I am determined to help these young people make the changes necessary to Vanish Type 2.

In this presentation, my audience will experience some funny and mind boggling magic. But even more importantly, they will learn what they can do to take control of their physical future.

Subjects will include:

  • What is the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes?
  • Who can get Type 2 Diabetes?
  • Are any ethnic groups more likely to develop Type 2 Diabetes?
  • What are the possible physical results of Type 2 Diabetes?
  • What role does food play in Type 2 Diabetes?
  • What role does exercise play in preventing Type 2 Diabetes?

What can you do?

It’s easy!!!
